For the Gearhead Factory crew, I had the privilege of filming an aftermovie. The event was incredibly entertaining, hosting a diverse crowd ranging from young enthusiasts to the elderly, all sharing a common passion. The aftermovie was captured using relatively simple equipment. For ground shots, I utilized the DJI Pocket 1 Gimbal, and aerial footage was taken with a DJI Mini 2 drone. The post-production process was executed using Lightworks.
As soon as I heard that my friends were organizing a moped meet, I immediately offered to bring my camera and equipment to capture some footage. Little did I know, I would end up creating a full-fledged aftermovie. Interestingly, this project reignited my passion for filming, something I never thought I would return to. I used to film and do basic editing and coloring, but I never expected to dive back into it so deeply, even upgrading to better cameras and gear afterwards.
As you can see in this aftermovie and the one I made for the Kubb Club, I do lack experience. However, I’m proud of what I achieved with a simple drone and my DJI Pocket 1. I can now spot some minor mistakes I made, but I guess that’s what helps you grow.
